Mystical Winter
In the Northern Hemisphere, Winter begins with the Winter Solstice (December 21) and ends with the Vernal Equinox (March 21). Daylight hours are less than 12 hours.
As the hemisphere begins to lose the heat of the sun, snow falls. Hibernating animals seek shelter for the winter. The harvest is over and people move indoors. Time seems to slow down.
Fae Hiver lives in the land of Mystical Winter. She makes sure that everything survives the cold.
